Forms PhD Forms DGA Student Handbook Graduation Forms Quick Links About The Divison of Global Affairs (DGA), offering a Master’s of Science degree and a Doctorate of Philosophy, is a multidisciplinary field concerned with theoretically informed, problem-oriented approaches to transitional issues and their interaction with local issues. Apply Now Contact Admissions Find Us Online Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn YouTube How You Will Learn Cutting across academic fields, the Division of Global Affairs brings together faculty from Arts and Sciences (political science, history, sociology, economics, anthropology and others), the School of Law, the Business School, the School of Criminal Justice and the School of Public Affairs and Administration. Students will take a range of foundational courses in global studies as well as more specialized electives reflecting their particular interests. The Master’s degree prepares students to work in the public and private international sectors, as well as in non-governmental organizations, think-tanks, foundations, and media companies focusing on global issues. The Ph.D. is geared towards preparing future scholars eager to adopt and cultivate a planetary perspective on global issues from an interdisciplinary and multicultural standpoint. The Ph.D. in Global Affairs can also be an excellent track for policy jobs at the global level requiring advanced expertise Programs Graduate Global Affairs, B.A/M.S Global Affairs, M.S.
